Sugar River Machine was formed in 1995 as a one-man machining enterprise, and has since grown exponentially to meet the needs of many Northern Illinois & Southern Wisconsin companies, as well as a multitude of companies abroad. This reputation stems from our ability to locate unusual materials quickly, as well as our solid repertoire of standard and unusual secondary service sources. Functioning in this manner affords our clients more time, and less anxiety in locating the secondary vendors needed to perform the necessary services.

Our location couldn’t be more desirable for our line of services. We are located minutes from one of the largest industrial cities in the United States; Rockford, Illinois. This allows us access to many services offered only in select areas of the country. In turn, because of this close proximity, we save our clients both time and money over those shops that have to locate these services out of city – or even state. Further, we have negotiated aggressive discounts with key materials suppliers that we often find no other machine shops of our size can match. Couple this with our massive inventory of materials on-hand, and the depth and breadth of its robustness, and we gain a further leg-up on our competition.
